I enjoy reading that blog, its always an interesting read. Plus Glen seems to be able to add in a little humour occasionally. Always a blessing.

It would be a pleasant suprise to be able to find a British equivilant to him.

Sure, flag burning isn't a great idea most of the time. People don't usually like it. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't have the right to do it. It's a free country, is it not?

Typical political ploy in an election year, nothing more. Don't have anything to hang your hat on? War in Iraq a big mess? Afghanistan still a big mess? No Osama? Interest rates rising? Oil prices soaring? The middle class losing massive financial ground? Corruption at an all time high? Deficit setting records? Then put the pebble under the walnut shell, shuffle it around, and look! Flag burning! Gay marriage! Married gays burning flags! Pay no heed to the man behind the curtain! These aren't the droids you're looking for!

You know ~ I actually agree with you there.

It was a matter of public record ~ per the Whitehouse ~years ~ before the NY Times "broke" it.



I only wonder *why* that isn't their main defence of their actions?...Especially considering the *severity* of the implications ~ in the publics eye... ..Honestly puzzles me...Unless they just genuinely *like* being perceived as anti-current Whitehouse they don't care if the perception is accurate~ or not.
