I've deactivated the link, by my own free choice.
But of course it's out there now, my hands aren't clean.
Is that report one-sided? I wouldn't argue that. But the point holds up. I wouldn't have post it if it didn't.
Let me re-emphasize this:
I do not want to be a rabble-rouser.
I've felt sick to my stomach since posting that trouble.
But when community concerns are ignored, and when "reasonable" has been blown off...
That's not in anybody's best interest.
And I hate that.

I just hate this. It's not my nature to be a rabble-rouser, especially if it's not going to do any good. It's getting harder and harder to type even a word, even to speak up at all. It's so maddening to watch everything go to hell here, and know that it's so needless.
But a long time ago, I said, "It's not my intention to tell anyone whether to stay or go, but rather just to make sure everyone is clear on the implications of this new scenario, so they can make their own best decision for themselves."
So I'm compiling two "final reports," based on everything I've learned, and those will follow later this week.
If you've got any facts or insights you think I've missed, make sure to share them. Use my email if necessary, and I'll be discreet about anything sensitive. In a sense, I'm almost thinking of myself as a journalist.
Which, unfortunately, doesn't make it any easier to share that damning report, that DA's not the site it used to be.
It just makes me sick that it's coming to this.
And I know this pushes the limit of free speech to even link that.
But if I don't, someone else will.
It's too important to ignore.

I think it took a lot of courage to post this and I assure you I don't think anyone thinks of you as a rabble-rouser. I think you should be very proud that you had the information and was able to get it to the people that needed it most.
I'm very intrested in your two "final reports", but let me ask. What do you mean in "final reports"?
Does that mean the last of your information, or the last of your patience with everything going on?
